jasmine ⇢ do you have a movie or book you loved but will never watch/read again?
I've tried to be cooler about it, but I absolutely adore Stardust (the book by Neil Gaiman) and absolutely do not think the movie is Stardust the book. I won't say I hate the movie; it's simply so damn different. The essence of the story that I loved isn't on the screen.
Probably would watch the movie again, I've definitely read the book several more times, but I had to suspend my knowledge that those two things are meant to be related.
sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?
I'm moved to tears pretty easily, but I'd put paintings on top of the wow list. Faves are Impressionist. Could go on forever about the softer colors or brush strokes or whatever, but I just could stare at art for hours. I was always patient enough as a wee kid to sit and enjoy museums.
abelia ⇢ do you have a particular piece of jewelry you always wear or can’t part with?
Not lately. I wore tiny shamrock earrings for years. I do not know where they went. That makes me sad. I have so much jewelry and wear absolutely none of it because it's cumbersome at work :(
