- was mulling over some fanart I did last Fall and realized the posture was almost duplicated on the show. Not exact by any means. (And I knew at the time that I didn’t replicate Diego’s perfect profile, but oh well. I was very happy with Liz.)

Enigma is the irl name of The Russian Knot

This scene was so evocative of beautiful things ❤️ I couldn’t help but be reminded of a Cardinal with Liz bright red jacket and black cap and bc I’m a hopeless romantic, I looked up the symbolism of Cardinals. {more on that below} I didn’t even really know that bird symbolism was a thing except for the obvious ones like Eagles etc, but apparently it is. Who knew? Anyways, that was all good and well, but then, as I prepared and edited these stills, I noticed how very blue Ressler’s suit was, and I thought, CUTE! A Cardinal AND a Bluejay! lol. Then it hit me that I should look up Bluejay symbolism…..And….. I have to wonder if it’s coincidence or not. I’ll let you decide:

Cardinal:

Cardinals represent devotion, loving relationships, courtship, and monogamy above everything else in the Native American lore, while some tribes thought cardinals to be the harbinger of rain, other tribes, like the southeastern tribe, associated good fortune and sun with them. x

Bluejay:

In animal symbolism, the blue jay resonates truth, faithfulness, and solidarity because they are vigilant in their tasks. They also keep the same mate for life, which is symbolic of endurance, patience and loyalty. x

I swear I had not had any intention of talking about the Cardinal thing in this post until I noticed Ressler’s very blue attire which led me to look up the Blue Jay angle. But when I did, I just had to share it with whoever may be interested. And all that talk about birds earlier with Anne, and Anne was Red’s Island of Calm… idk. My mind runneth away with me at times. What r ya gonna do?! 🤷‍♀️

Anyways, it was these pictures that I wanted to play with and look what treasure they revealed. Gosh I love Keenler. The best ship.
