              𝐒𝐡𝐞  𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧'𝐭  𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐲  𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭  𝐡𝐢𝐬  𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬  were  in  fact  rather  romantic  to  hear.  Truth  be  told,  it  did  throw  her  off.  Mainly  because  she  had  not  expected  such  from  him.  But  perhaps  that  did  not  say  much--given  she  never  expected  them  from  anyone.  Not  because  she  didn't  think  she  deserved  it  or  such--far  from  it.  She  knew  what  she  was  worth.  She  knew  what  she  deserved.  Who  she  loved  and  adored…who  she  wanted  to  be  in  her  life.  The  handsome,  charming  pinkette  was  one  of  them.

               She  debated  a  moment,  wandering  if  it  was  a  genuine  request,  or  if  he  was  trying  to  make  her  smile--like  always.  Perhaps…perhaps  a  declaration  of  something  she  already  knew;  his  feelings.  She  could  see  it,  in  the  way  his  pupils  dilated  around  her.  The  way  he  seemed  to  try  just  a  little  bit  extra  when  wanting  to  make  her  smile  on  her  worst  days,  and  being  supportive  on  her  best  days.  She  had  already  adored  him,  and  was  endeared  early  on.  She  had  realized  long  ago,  this  was  a  man  she  wished  to  be  with.  Could  be  with.

              ❝  Then…I'll  make  sure  history  remembers  that  deep  love  correctly.  And  I  promise  to  never  forget  how  much  your  heart  beats  for  me,  as  mine  does  for  you.  ❞

              𝐇𝐈𝐒  𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒  𝐌𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓  𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄  𝐀𝐒  𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐂  to  some.  Admittedly,  they  did  strike  a  cord  in  her  own  stilled  one.  She  briefly  pauses,  clouded  hues  starting  slightly  past  the  male  before  her,  and  yet  seeming  to  stare  directly  at  him.

He…was  wishing  to  protect  her?  How…peculiar.  To  be  honest,  she  has  never  viewed  herself  to  ever  need  protection….Being  what  she  is.  Who  she  is.  However,  she  found  the  other's  thought  to  be…sweet.  She  appreciated  that  someone  was  so  sweet  to  think  of  her  for  such.

                ❝  You  wish  to  protect  me?  ❞  She  repeats,  her  tone  softening  to  him.  She  was,  in  this  moment,  attempting  to  be  careful  with  how  she  sounded  to  him.  What  she  said  to  him.  The  last  thing  she  wished,  was  to  accidentally  spur  him.  Not  when  he  was  being  so  endearing.  After  a  small  moment,  a  smile  does  grace  her  lips.

              ❝  You  are…  ❞  She  pauses  to  think  for  a  moment.  What  would  be  the  right  word?  It  was  hard,  when  she  herself  had  distanced  from  what  was  considered  humanity  for  so  long….

             ❝  I  appreciate  your  concern  for  me.  But  I  assure  you;  There  is  no  need  for  worry.  ❞

 Stella had wandered about aimlessly for many years. She watched war after war break out without ever doing anything to support or hinder them. A new one had broken out only a year ago and seemed to have wrapped up only a few days ago. The part that fascinated the Doll the most about it was the simple fact that the bulk of two armies seemed to had disappeared only to return as brothers in arms.

 The Doll herself had been pondering the news while enjoying a cup of tea at an outdoor table in front of a tiny cafe. With Prince Xander back the surface streets seemed to be cleaned out of all the bandits. Then again he was King Xander now as Garon had vanished as well and that meant the capital wasn’t safe for them to be out in the open anymore.

 “This tea is better than mine.” She remarked to herself. “I wonder if they’ll give me the recipe of the blend.”
