pink oyster mushroom bao ~ red cabbage purple carrot slaw ~ sriracha mayo ~ spelt buns --- I would make this dish again in a split second—all of the components work in such harmony and burst with flavor on the palate! A lot of TLC (and time) goes into prepping the buns, but they are worth every minute. I look forward to perfecting my bao game in the future. Had a lovely day at work, so I treated myself to some #fancyfungi at the People's Food Co-op thereafter! Pink oyster mushrooms, followed by the OG "chicken of the woods," with a king trumpet arching in the back. All #local and #organic. I am so ready for this—any ideas?! Also, if this appeals to you, I *am* still in need of a roommate for next year, and garden/kitchen spaces will be a requirement in the living quarters.
