I decided with this Tumblr account, that I shall track all of fandom hyperfixations throughout 2025. Obviously with the banner, starting with Squid Game 2's 457 ship.

I will say, JayVik had me in a chokehold for like 2 months at the end of 2024, but that was 2024, and this ship took me so damn suddenly. Like I have not had the urge to draw doodles, fangirl in fandom space, or have the urge to write anything about a ship in a very long time - like I don't even know how to make edits, but I have edit ideas. Also want to rewatch season 2 again already, just to rewatching with new eyes and a brain now in 457 brainrot.
Also please writers keep all the fanfics coming. <3 I've been reading so many fics of Gihun and In-ho for the past few days in between work, and it's been marvelous. Has really scratched a hyperfixation itch I was missing for awhile. These fics can be my motivation as work begins again :')
I feel I will be fixated on these two for quite sometime. Their dynamic is just so interesting and their motivations and moralities are not set in stone enough that it gives such great space for fandom writers and creators to play with. Love itttt.
(also would love to see other people track their hyperfixations - it makes for a really interesting thing to look back on)
