In 2018, after a biopsy, my OB-GYN wrote "PCOS?" in my chart, and my then-GP added "clear of cysts". Guess which part that GP told me at my follow up?

Anyway, now it's 2026, and I've been insulin resistant my entire adult life, and my now-GP finally found that tiny note, and I am being treated for PMOS. I have the lowest possible "at risk" number for type 2 diabetes, and we're treating it. But it took 8 years and getting a new doctor who believes in, you know, practicing medicine.

Being sexually attracted to multiple people is normal for allosexuals, it does not make you polysexual.

Unlike everything else, being poly is about what you do, or what you want to do, it's not about how you experience attraction.

I hope the Gen Z who is confused about that do not represent the majority.

While I'm here, I also want to say that romantic attraction is not synonymous with monogamy. That ignores the existence of people who are polyromantic or monogamous aroallo.

Note: I have "monosexual" in the tags to indicate people who are sexually monogamous. I've seen other people use the term to mean people who are only attracted to one gender.

I'm sure just like aroallos, bi and pan people are often assumed to be poly.

Loitering is a crime that everyone has existed by being in public. It is nearly impossible not to loiter. The point of loitering laws is that they're enforced unequally. It's defined by existing when unwanted, it will only ever be used as a weapon against the unwanted. Just existing is considered a crime, so homeless people, people of color, teenagers who exist without adults, etc. are arrested for just existing. It is a law designed for an inequality society is willing to enforce but not admit to.
