4618 Also: character designers and artists who flip their lids when they post art of their characters, and then see people off in some corner drawing or writing nsfw of those characters. They have the right to be super uncomfortable about it, sure, but they can't control what people do. Yet, I've seen one too many people saying they have 'extreme anxiety' about it, but continue to 1) allow reblogs so their art reaches as big and unpredictable an audience as possible, and 2) post their art publicly in the first place. How?! How does that even compute? Bruh, this is the public internet. INTERNET. There are dozens of internet tropes and memes about people making nsfw things of literally anything they see. Want a forum full of artwork where dragons are bonking cars? You have that. Even as someone who wouldn't draw nsfw of someone else's characters and post it in public, because I'd be too embarrassed if they saw it, and even though I know people like to share their art, if you're going to share your art, for the love of god, just be prepared and accept the fact you will get weirdos (or just very enthusiastic people) making art of them. You can't. control. that.

4618 speaks all the truth! I'm a millennial in my 30s and growing up I Saw Some Shit online and it did not ruin me. Sometimes you see things you don't want to but using the internet comes with a certain degree of risk and seeing shit. Either accept it or don't use it. Also makes me wonder how much of this is actually an accident and not "I deliberately looked for things and now I'm mad I saw them"
