Would love to know about the first time r&r Lexa receives a nude from Clarke lol is she too surprised? Does she get a nosebleed? Does she send one back??

Rock & Role Lexa is very sweet by nature, very calm, and mostly put together, and those that actually know her would assume her sex life and sex drive is average, but once she's in love and that sex monster wakes up, she's all for it. She's less surprised that her Clarke would have the confidence and be that forward and more surprised that Clarke would like...bother. Rock & Role Clarke is very dtf, very open about that, and once these two start they can't stop, as you've seen up through part 8. But Clarke is impulsive and impatient and Lexa loves that Clarke took the time to think of her, take photos and send them.

She's got to wait til shes back at her hotel cause she's always surrounded by the band, but she absolutely reciprocates.

I don't think Clarke waits long, either. Once these two are together for real and Lexa's out of town for a week, she's got the ring light out.

I hope you had a happy Wednesday and that your Thursday is looking even better! Loving this follow up to this fandom snack, and I have always thought that of all of the Lexas, it would actually be Slopes that is the most free with herself in this sense! She's got a very fit body that she works on all the time and is proud of, she's very open about how much sex she has, if they were leaked it wouldn't be that damaging to her career because it's linked heavily to athletic performance and snowboard culture is rooted in partying, and based on her personality and how she flirts and fucks, she'd be the most likely.

QI Lexa would be next, in theory, and she's glad that camera phones weren't that good when she was young and wild cause she would've sent way too many. She takes Clarke's lead on it, and QI Clarke has excellent nude game and I think for these two and who they both are, hers is the most surprising. They spend so much time apart that even when they're married and live together, there are months that it feels like dating long distance, and Clarke keeps that spark very much alive.

Might As Well Lexa is the shyest in general, or the most reserved/introverted. She doesn't start it, but her Clarke is the boldest, and these two do very quicky find a groove with sending hot stuff to each other when they're apart. Might As Well Lexa is a slow start, but she figures it out.

R&R Lexa definitely does. She's more surprising than the other Lexas as she's pretty reservered and pretty calm and pretty chill until she's not, then she's REALLY not. She takes Clarke's lead on it as well, but once the door is open and this is something they like and something they both get a rise out of, she meets Clarke right where she's at. I don't think she was much for it before Clarke, but Clarke brings it out of her. Both of them have their picture taken all the time, both of them pose for photos all the time, they know their angles, they understand lighting, they know each other, they spend a ton of time apart, and they have Class A nude game.

All of my AUs have Clexas that spend a lot of time apart by design, because I felt that if canon went differently and these two lived, even happily ever after, by nature of thei lives they would have to. Clarke would have to go back to Arkadia often enough, Lexa would have to go be the commander all over the place and Clarke wouldn't always go. I try to choose carries and lives that forces them to spend a lot of time without each other kind of based on a canon that never existed, but would have if things went differently for them. Canon Clarke I guess would've drawn her own nudes? I don't know, but she would've figured something out.

I love your love for Greatest Day! I look forward to having the time to stop flriting with that fic and get serious with it, because I love how it's shaping up and I think some of the writing techniques will be a lot of fun for me and I can hone some new skills.

These two dated each other roughly 2003-2007, so that would've been flip phones and the beginning of digital cameras, but the way this Clarke is shaping up, she would've made it work. Greatest Day Clarke is artsy and smart, she's bold and she's confident, and rather than sending nudes in the traditional sense, this Clarke would've managed a photoshoot and gotten them printed, and Lexa would only have a hard copy. Her Myspace had the mirror selfie with the flash going off on her digital camera, she had it going on at the dawn of social media. GD Clarke is hot and knows it, and she doesn't lose that as she ages.

Lexa still has a box burried somewhere in her stuff of all the momentos from her relationship with Clarke that she couldn't part with when they split. She has kind of forgotten about it, it's in a trunk with other nostalgia and she doesn't really actively think about it. It has all of their old photo albums and things Clarke drew and momentos from dates and their life together. I love the thought of Lexa's stuff arriving in staggared waves as she and Aden settle in, and that box ends up showing up way later after she and Clarke have gotten close again, and they're digging through it and remembering their old life in a fun way, and those old photos of Clarke from 20 years ago are in there and they both forgot and have to deal with that confusing set of feelings.

I imagine that Greatest Day Lexa is VERY confident and very sure of herself and very stern and strong at work and on the water and in most social situations, and the only time she's shy or awkard or sweet or anxious is around Clarke, and Clarke knows it, has always known it, and it doesn't change 20 years later.

A slightly spicy fandom snack - all four Clarkes have excellent game surrounding sending nudes, and all four Lexas are very pleasantly surprised to find out. Might As Well Lexa is the least surprised, but she’s still a little surprised at first. They all spend a lot of time away from each other, and all of the Clarkes are quick to keep the spark alive across all distances.

Might As Well Clarke is a very talented artist and she doodles all the time. She doesn’t always notice she’s doing it, but sometimes she does and puts a little effort in. The edges of their take out menus all have little pictures on the edges from Clarke doodling while she’s on the phone ordering. She scribbles on junk mail left on the kitchen counter while they catch up at the end of the day. Napkins at the airport bar. The back of reciepts at restaurants.

Clarke draws little pictures on scraps of paper and hides them in Lexa’s luggage when Lexa travels for work. Clarke leaves them around the house for Lexa to find when Clarke travels for work. Her little art pieces range in everything from flowers to cartoon characters to quick sketches of Lexa and everything in between.

Lexa keeps them all and Clarke has no idea until she’s sitting in the chair at Lexa’s desk at home a few years later and Lexa opens a drawer to put soemthing away and Clarke sees them all stacked neatly. Lexa confesses that she takes them out and looks through them every so often because she’s love them so much.

Some random thoughts for fandom snacks!

Quality Ingredients Aden has had the same group of friends since he was really little. They all grew up in the neighborhood together, they all know his cousins, and they’re very smart, creative, nice boys. Anya is on average ten years younger than most of his friends’ moms, but she’s known most of them his whole life and she’s a great neighbor.

It’s not uncommon that there are a few extra boys around Anya’s house on the weekend for a sleepover or that Aden is at someone else’s place. Aden’s house was always a hub of the friend group, but now that Lexa and Clarke and Roan are around all the time, they end up over there more often.

Roan makes the best late night snacks. Clarke, always very competitive, is really hard to beat at Mario Kart. Lexa is literally famous and spoils Aden within reason, and he’s always really generous with his friends. One of the reasons they like hanging out at his house now is that all of the adults are cool. They’re chefs and doctors and business owners who encourage the boys to be creative and interested in things, but also to be good people. They are the kind of adults teenagers want to listen to, and they’re all very responsible with it.

Quality Ingredients Clarke loves to soak in a tub. She always has. She loves every aspect of it from the physical comfort of the warm water to the mental side where she can't really do much else while she's in there. She doesn't even read that much because she doesn't want to drop her book in the water. She leaves her phone on the bathroom counter. Sometimes she has snacks and wine or a beer or a tea, but mostly she just lets herself actually relax.

Lexa's bathtub is big enough for two, but she almost never used it before Clarke came into her life. Taking a bath takes too much time, and she's always moving, always busy, always working. Clarke can be very, very persuasive, especially if she's naked, and she started slowly by asking Lexa to get in just for a few minutes.

When they're on vacation, relaxing in the tub together, eating and laughing together becomes something they both look forward to. I have the clearest imagine in my head of Lexa in the bath on the phone from the story:

“I just so happen to have one thousand pictures of the most magical weekend ever right here!” Clarke pulled her phone from the back pocket of her jeans and huddled in between Raven and Anya.  Lexa rolled her eyes playfully and nodded a thank you to harper when she dropped off a beer for Clarke.

“You stayed at the fucking Astoria, didn’t you?”  Anya whipped her head up at Lexa after a few glances at the iconic lobby on Clarke’s phone.  “You know, that review of your assets last month wasn’t so you could piss them away!”

“It was business!” Lexa tried.

“Oh, yeah, this shot of your ass drinking champagne in the tub looks real professional,” Anya joked back, pointing down at Clarke’s phone as she gave Lexa a look.  Lexa leaned over to see the photo.  Clarke blushed at getting caught with it.

“I was on the phone arranging my Napa trip next month!  That’s literally work!”  Lexa yelped. 

Gradually Lexa stops bringing her phone to the tub. Even if she can't stay long, she sets aside everything for those quiet times the two of them let themselves actually relax and enjoy each other with nothing else around. Clarke changes Lexa's view on taking time for herself for the better.

Rock & Role Lexa buys a little bouquet of sunflowers anytime she sees them at the grocery store and keeps it on the kitchen counter when these two get together for real.

She does it religiously and for the first few months, Clarke doesn’t say much other than thanks her or tells her she’s cute and sweet and gives her a smooch. After a while Clarke shyly tells Lexa that she doesn’t need to keep doing that, she’s already won her over.

Lexa reminds Clarke that they’re get well flowers, and she knows Clarke is still healing from so much, so she keeps the get well flowers coming. Lexa’s motiveless kindness eventually stops feeling so foreign to Clarke, but it takes a while.

I smoked a joint and I’m doing my chores, so I’ll try to put to a few more of those fandom snacks I was talking about.

Might As Well Lexa has a very stern and serious work voice. Her speaking voice normally is very even, she thinks carefully before she responds, she’s not very loud. She’s thoughtful and her own specific kind of sweet. At work, she is a shark. She talks quickly and strongly and she knows exactly what she’s talking about and exactly what she wants, and she doesn’t tolerate nonsense.

Might As Well Clarke hears Lexa laugh more than the rest of the world combined. She only gets the sweetest side of Lexa, she gets relaxed Lexa (as relaxed as Might As Well Lexa ever gets). When she first hears Lexa’s Work Voice she is taken totally aback. She can’t believe it’s her at first. Shes confident and she’s powerful and she’s strong and Clarke thinks it’s hot as hell.

When they move in together and both have their offices in the house, there are days that they both work from home and they’re both there all day. I have always loved the image of Clarke getting up from her desk to go get a water or whatever and she passes by Lexa’s open office door. Lexa is pacing back and forth on a call running a meeting and using that voice that makes everyone do what she says and she’s stress curling weights and she’s sweaty and she’s annoyed as hell. Clarke is against the wall with closed eyes and bit lip listening to her woman boss everyone around.

When Lexa says things like “I’m gonna be home Thursday in my office. I have to do my district directors’ quarterly sales reviews over the phone and they are NOT good,” with a big eye roll and a huff, Clarke’s sitting at the table with her legs crossed and a pointed “oh DARN, I’m gonna be home that day, too!”

She loves it.
