Jackson jealousy?? Angst and fluff😏😉
It was the end of a long night and you were more than alittle exhausted. As a part of your job you usually had to go to events andentertain as a way of getting people to join the company. It usually wasn’t badbut sometimes the clients were arrogant or annoying and it was tiring to tryand keep up with them. While people thought going out and partying was an easyway to make a living, you were getting tired of it.
When you got back to your apartment, Jackson was waiting upfor you. He was sitting on the couch in the living room, phone in hand and afrown on his face. You set your bag down and went over to him, leaning down tokiss him but he pulled away from you. You stood up a bit confused.
“What’s wrong?” When he didn’t answer you, you asked again. “Jackson,what’s wrong?”
“The least you could do,” he muttered, “when you go to thesethings is not fawn over the guys you’re recruiting.” Jackson handed you hisphone. Your Instagram profile was pulled up, displaying a picture of you and a newrecruit. His arm was slung casually over your shoulder as the two of you posedfor the picture. You couldn’t help but roll your eyes.
“Jackson, this is hardly me fawning over him. And you knowmy job is to flatter and get people to want to come and work for us.”
“I get that and I’m sure you’re very convincing. You aretelling them that you don’t come with the contract right? That you’re taken?”
“Why are you being like this all of a sudden?”
“It’s not all of a sudden, (Y/N). You know I hate when yougo to these things.”
You groaned and picked up your bag so that you could take itback into your room. “Jackson, I don’t have time for this. I’m tired and thelast thing I wanna do is fight with you about something so stupid.”
“So you think I’m stupid now? Is that it?” Jackson snapped.You stared at him in disbelief.
“That’s not even close to what I said and you know that! Idon’t wanna argue with you because I’m tired of having the same conversationover and over again about me and my job.”
“We wouldn’t be having this same conversation if you wouldjust listen to me!”
“Jackson, what is it that you want me to do? I like thecompany I work for, I like how far I’ve come. Am I just supposed to quit my jobbecause you don’t like it? Am I just supposed to stay at home and let you takecare of me?”
“What’s so wrong with that?”
You squeezed the bridge of your nose, fighting back the headachethat was forming. He kept complaining about the events you had to go to butalways rejected your offers to come with you. Jackson was being childish andyou hated when he got like this. He was usually so confident so you weren’tsure what it was that always made him get so jealous despite you telling himover and over that there was nothing to worry about.
“I’m not quitting my job. And I’m not having this conversationeither.” You started to head back towards the bedroom. “Until you can get over whateverthe hell this is, you can sleep on the couch.”
As you were shutting the door to your bedroom, you couldhear the sound of something hitting the wall. You did your best to ignore itand started getting ready for bed. You had honestly been looking forward totomorrow since it was your first off day in a while but his attitude hadcompletely thrown you off. All you could do was climb under the covers and hopethat by tomorrow he would stop being so stubborn.
The next morning you were disappointed at not having wokenup beside Jackson like you usually would. The disappointment turned to confusionwhen you didn’t find him lying on the couch.
“Jackson?” You called.
“Kitchen!”
You turned the corner slowly, shocked to see him makingbreakfast for the two of you. Without looking over at you, he said, “Sit down.”You did as you were told and he sat a plate of food down in front of you beforetaking the seat across from you. He didn’t say anything, just watching you eatfor a moment.
Finally he cleared his throat and said, “I’m sorry. Aboutlast night.”
You stared at him as you ate, hoping for some sort ofexplanation.
“Lately you’ve been doing a lot for yourself…I know I’m notalways around and that can’t really be helped, but when I’m here, I do likefeeling like you need me around. So seeing you go out and be successful andhappy without me…It makes me feel bad, like I’m not a good enough boyfriend. Youquitting your job was a stupid thing to suggest, I know, but…I just want tofeel needed.” His voice was soft and he was fiddling with the salt shakertrying to find something to distract himself from his words.
You smiled a little bit and reached across the table, takinghis hand in yours.
“You know that I love you, right? And that me beingsuccessful or happy doesn’t stop me from loving you? You’re right about you notalways being here, but there are some things that I need from my boyfriend thatI can’t get from my job or anywhere else. I can need you and love you withoutbeing completely dependent on you.”
Jackson nodded his head, a bit embarrassed by how he hadbeen acting. “I know. And I really am sorry for starting that fight with you.So!” His voice got a bit excited as he held your hand tightly and smiled, “Tomake it up to you, we can go anywhere you want today and everything’s on mealright?”
“Jackson, you really don’t have to-“
“I want to,” he said. “Let me take care of you just thisonce, okay?”

4. “H-how long have you been standing there?”
You sighed tiredly as you stared at the sky above you. You were up on the school rooftop - your only source of getaway from everyone else.
You had the hugest crush on your friend, Hanbin, and you were planning on confessing to him earlier today until you heard that he had a crush on a girl as well. With that, your hopes were shattered and here you were now, up on the roof.
You really loved him. Everything about him was perfect to you - his smile, his dorkiness, his laugh. Even the thought of him alone made your heart swell in happiness.
"You're such an idiot." you mumbled to yourself. "How could you imagine yourself with a guy like Hanbin? He's not the one for you."
"Who's not the one for you?" a sudden voice asked. You whipped around at the sound and gasped.
"H-how long have you been standing there?" you stuttered as Hanbin walked towards you. He smiled his radiant smile at you and answered," Just a while now. Why do you look so surprised?"
"How did you even find me?" you questioned. "No one knows about this place."
"Ah, I used to come here a lot until you stole it from me." Hanbin told you.
Your eyes widened at his sentence. "What? You didn't tell me!" you said.
Hanbin laughed at your reaction and said," It's not that big of a deal. Besides, I only come out here when you're not here."
"Then, why are you out here now?" you wondered.
"Because I have something to tell you."
You raised a brow in questioning. "What is it?" you asked, suddenly feeling nervous.
"I like you." Hanbin blurted.
"W-what?" You felt your heart racing in your chest, thumping fiercely.
Hanbin sheepishly rubbed the nape of his neck, not meeting your eyes. "I said I like you." he repeated. "And I understand if you can't return the feelings back, but I-"
The sound of your laughter interrupted him. "What's so funny?" he asked.
"Idiot, I like you, too," you told him. His eyes widened with a glimmer.
"Really?" he asked. You smiled while nodding your head. "That's great then!" He tackled you into a hug. You wrapped your arms around his neck and sighed contentedly.
Maybe you two were meant to be together after all.
11. “Go and live with her, then! See if I care.”
"You're going to do what?!" you nearly screeched as you looked at your one and only best friend, Jungkook.The boy shrugged his shoulder nonchalantly, expecting your reaction. "I'm going to move in with Areum." he repeated."But you guys have only been dating for a month!" you shouted. "Don't you think you two are taking it a bit too fast?"Jungkook gave you a look and asked," Isn't it just because you're lonely and don't have a boyfriend so you're nagging at me about this?""Jeon Jungkook!" you shouted furiously, punching his shoulder."I was just playing!" he told you, chuckling a bit."I'm being serious!" You looked at him with firm eyes. "You're taking this way too fast.""I love her. She loves me. Moving in together was a good decision for the both of us." Jungkook told you.You rolled your eyes at him. Was he dumb or was he dumb? Your words weren't getting into this boy's small, pea-sized brain at all."Jungkook, be serious with me." you began. "Where do you see yourself with Areum in the next couple of months?"Jungkook thought for a moment. You could see the wheels turning in his brain. He honestly had no idea. "Jungkook, if you ask me, this sounds like a bad idea." you told him. "As your best friend, I'm telling you right now that this isn't a great idea. Maybe you should give it some more thought."Jungkook shook his head. "I want this. We both want this." he told you. "Why are you trying to stop me from my happiness?""Who said I was stopping you?" Your eyes widened at his accusation. Was he seriously doing this right now?"If I want to live with her, why can't I?" Jungkook looked at you with stern eyes. "Who are you to stop me?"You scoffed slightly as you couldn't believe what he was saying. "Jungkook, are you even listening to yourself right now?" you asked. "I'm your best friend! Your best friend since elementary school! What the hell are you talking about?""Look," Jungkook got up from his seat. "Our views have changed in life... Maybe we're just too different now.""Jungkook, are you being serious right now?" you asked incredulously, standing up. "You're ending our friendship because of what I said?!""I just think we need some time apart." he answered."We've been apart for who knows how long!" you shouted. "Areum doesn't even let me see you! She keeps you all to herself! I haven't seen you for the past two weeks!"You heard Jungkook sigh. The look on his face was weary, as if he was dealing with some problems with the latter girl as well. Were they having a crisis in the relationship?"Let's take a break." Jungkook told you."Take a break from what?!" you asked. "Fine! Go and live with her, then! See if I care!"You stormed out of the room feeling a sort of sadness in you. Jungkook wasn't one to act like this, but whatever it was, you weren't going to forgive him easily.
