Like, the people Bubby is friends with are also all nonhuman. he can light shit on fire with his brain. He’s also ‘the perfect human’ so Gordon being able to do weird shit? Doesn’t even register. That’s just how life is. Neat to know his range of powers though. Bubby then moves on.

[Honestly, my brain is just stuck on wondering if Taako's gonna fail his Wisdom saves in the graphics novel like he does in the podcast. I feel like not enough people think or talk about that time double failed his save against the Gaia Sash, whereas I think about it every time I think about PttM? You get me at all?]

oh yeah, i totally think that’s gonna be A Moment in the graphic novel. just bc obvi it had some weight in the podcast, but i feel like if that happened in a Later Arc, it would’ve been focused more on? just bc the end of petals obvi had its intense moments, but it was also still in the realm of “this is a very good podcast but mostly comedy-based,” if that makes sense? like crystal kingdom was when they hit the ground running with really establishing the plot that would lead into the end game, while in petals, taako failing his roll was seen as “look at this dumbass”
