All these fairies ready to serve Changheng. All these temptations before his little brother who he's trying to protect. They are potential distractions! He has to marry the goddess or everything is going to implode! (at least this is what he's been told?)
He's just trying to run a Realm and get everyone to do what destiny says they are supposed to.
Sigh. Anyway. Go read THIS for a better and deeper story.
