...But she couldn’t help but be intrigued at what really went on at ‘Fang Bangers’ in Forgotten Hollow.

So, sometime in the deep 90's I was deep into my introduction to vampires, and my mum and her friend Mona were dying hair in the kitchen So me, realising the golden opportunity of the day, toddled over to the computer and searched on Encarta (smash that like if u remember the pre-wikipedia days of encatra) Encyclopedia and found Interview with the Vampire. I read the short synopsis and saw the poster and 3 promo pics and saved them and the synopsis in a .txt file to my "VAMPRIES!" floppy disc....

I begged my mother to let me watch it when Mona left. Then I brought up my saved images.

That's how I learned what a serial killer was, and my mothers grand theory of how Tom Cruise was one. And how she didnt want me to watch a film with a serial killer in it. (Vampires are fine with her cause they aren't real and no one actually died from vampires according to her parenting model.)

Of course I watched it the next month when a neighbor kid babysat me and wanted to know what film she would bring from a rental place tho. I wanted the Forbidden(™) Vampires!

Every time I see his face on a hot gozzie mag in the grocers I think of it, especially when it deals with Scientology....
