Thank you so, so much. This little endeavor is likely to take me a few weeks. So do keep your eyes open for it. I have major ideas. It's just getting them to the screen that seems to be my problem right now. So keep those fingers crossed.

Not even close. Melissa is 49 but can easily pass for much younger so Carol could be anywhere in her 40s. She does not look remotely 60.

Yeah, no. I wouldn't put Carol even anywhere near her 50's. I say she's in her mid-40's.

I'd be in school forever if it were up to me. As it is I'll be getting my latest degree just a few days short of 50 and (hopefully) will be embarking on an exciting new career.

lol nope that would be easy. i studied lit in college. it's a second degree, a masters in social work, because i want to be a chemical dependency counselor atm, but the degree will let me do more if in the future i want to branch out.

That sounds fascinating! And yeah I definitely see how the degree gives you more scope, which is always a good thing. I hope it all works out!

I've heard the Beth/Carl problem before. I've addressed it at length. It's not clear to me why 'shipping romance has to include an expectation of sex, and why teens that have to make life and death decisions couldn't be at least considered thoughtful enough to maybe not have sex immediately. Besides, a 15/18 pairing is real world. At least it was everyday when I was in high school. 

The point here is not that *I* have to ship these things...the point is that it's the obsession over Daryl that is the problem. I firmly believe that diversifying the understanding of Beth away from Daryl would diffuse this situation. I think the same might be true for Carol. I already engage in that, though I don't post about it often. It's just for me ^_^.

I want it all. I want to see everyone. I know the trailer tells us nothing, but I just want to see new footage. I'm so excited.

I have the weirdest combination of excitement and anxiety, like YAY new footage all round (and yes, it'll probably be edited in a hugely misleading way, but it's better than the nothing we've got right now!) but what if it's bad or if I don't like it or if they make Carol look cold for "tension" and what if it looks like one of the few that I actually care about might die??! <flails>

Dude, I have so much anxiety. I think it's super good that I have this giant banquet to attend at six. That way I can see the trailer before I go, and then try to psych up for the madness that will inevitably await me on my return. UGH.

I am dreading the inevitable madness tbh! The panel starts at 8.20pm here, so I think it'll be a late one once the trailer's out and giffed and dissected three times over!
