Steve reluctantly let the new avengers go, trying not to worry about them. He felt like a mother hen trying to prepare the chicks for battle. Vision was calmly absorbing everything, but today Wanda was more focused on the fact that it was Friday than anything else. And Rhodes was only too happy to jump on that mindset. He rubbed his hand across his face, grinning at the small mutiny that had eventually allowed them all to leave early.
In the shower he wondered if he should do something special as well. It was Friday. But who would he call? Tony? He probably had plans already. He’d call Thor but he wasn’t sure if the God of Thunder had mastered a smartphone yet. Stepping out of the shower, he immediately put on some of the lotion to mask his omega scent. Everybody assumed he was an alpha and he would like to keep it that way, even from his friends. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust them, not really. He just preferred to keep his nature to himself. Not hiding it had never ever proved to be a good thing.
Can’t be that hard to find him, really.
Maybe he’d like to grab a bear downtown? Or catch a movie at Steve’s place? He puts on a pair of threadbare jeans and a white t-shirt before heading off to find Thor. He finally found him in the training hall, doing his best to utterly demolish it.
”Hey”, he said with a grin, running his fingers through his still-wet hair. ”You busy?”
