kate decides to try and sneak up on yelena one day and shoot her with one of those kids suction cup arrows and to kates absolute horror it works and hits yelena square on the forehead which prompts yelena to chase kate around the house for the next hour with lucky and fanny following

yelena casually tells kate one day that she thinks she broke her rib when she got stabbed to which kate loses her shit even swearing infront of “the kids” (lucky and fanny) because yelena did not infact tell kate about any of this and kate forces yelena to go to the hospital

kate gets yelena to watch some of the mission: impossible films with her and yelena just spends the whole time telling lucky and fanny how innaccurate the films are and yelena tells kate about how “this thomas cruise would not last a day” while kate just sits back and watches as yelena gets increasingly more frustrated

kate and yelena decide to open a P.I. firm together and kate suggests they should dress for the part before pulling out two costumes which yelena immediately tried to shoot down before kate reveals the outfits are actually for lucky and fanny which yelena has to admit they do look cute in the outfits so tells kate they can stay

kate decides to buy yelena a gift for her birthday before kate realises she doesn’t really know what yelena would want and lucky and fanny don’t give any good suggestions either so kate decides to play it safe and buy yelena a vintage cool dagger and it’s the first time kate sees yelena cry out of happiness
