🥇 FAN OF THE WEEK is @b.zozka 🦇 "So it all started when they announced the bands supporting Sabaton at their concert in Budapest on the 20th of August and I heard about the bands Dynazty and Avatar for the first time. I checked them out and fell in love immediately. The first song I heard from them was Bloody Angel, then The Eagle Has Landed, and that was the one that got me really hooked. When we went to the concert I couldn't be more excited! The thrill I experienced when they came on to the stage is still so unreal to me, their stage presence was simply amazing and I was in awe at how well Johannes could work the crowd! After the concert I looked into them more and they became my new favourite band, I love watching their interviews and behind the scenes videos and stuff. 🎤 FAN OF THE WEEK is our fab @_cryptic_mother_ 🥀 READ IT IN FULL IN THE LAST SLIDES OF THIS POST! "I first got introduced to Avatar in early 2018 when I got one of their videos suggested to me, that being the ‘Hail the Apocalypse’ music video. I immediately was blown away at how awesome it sounded. My eyes were practically glued to my tiny phone screen as I watched a clown man parade himself around with a sign and jack-in-the-box type thing. 🤡 At first, I was kinda confused, but either way, I was intrigued. So naturally, I needed to find out anything and everything about them! 😍 I soon found out their names, all their albums and just nose-dived into their discography. Funnily enough, before getting into Avatar, I absolutely HATED the sound of guttural vocals, but Johannes had changed my mind on that, as well as heavier music in general. 😈 I also finally found a community in which I felt at home in, and I made some long lasting friends who I love and cherish to this day! 💞 Going back to the band and their impact on me as a whole, I gotta say they’ve pretty much consumed my life for the past five years, and I mean that in the best way possible. 💥 In some regards, they’ve raised me, I mean I got into them when I was 13, and now I’ll be 18 in November! 🤭 Seeing them live has also made a profound impact on me, as they were one of the only artists I’ve ever seen live, six times to be exact. I know, it sounds like a lot, and trust me it is, but every time was so damn worth it. 🎪 To be honest, Avatar has completely changed my life, and I really don’t know where I’d be without them! If I could, I’d tell each member, “thank you for changing my life”. 🥲 And speaking of thank you’s, I’d like to thank all of those who managed to read this wall of text without falling asleep; your attention span is much greater than mine. 🥇 FAN OF THE WEEK is @insomni.ash 🌼 "EVERYTHING WENT LIKE FAR PAST PERFECT!! (besides Henrik not being there 😔) Omg when I was meeting them, I had every signature on John drumstick besides Tim's and I went up to him and was like oh I have everyone else's signature but yours..
