“Both of those options sound amazing.” Three years. For three years he had been out of the Super Hero / Super Villain Game. For three years he had been married to Harvey. Jason had never thought he would settle down. But he had found Harvey and something had just…clicked into place. And he had fallen for Harvey’s daughter too. Red Hood had saved them when they wandered into Crime Alley. Now they lived well away from Gotham in a quiet New England town. “Both options sound good. How about we have some great food and then go for full on debauchery?” He had Bruce to thank for this. For his family. For his home. If Bruce hadn’t taken him in…then none of these good things would have happened. “I’m thinking Italian.”

Harvey happily pulled Jason in for a quick little kiss, nuzzling him tenderly as he could “Italian sounds absolutely fantastic’ he whispered, playing with the man’s hair a little just enjoying the brief moment with his heroic husband. It was a nice life with Jason, the man just understood him and never failed to be a charming stepfather to their child. They had the dream life that Harvey had been wanting for ages. “I’ll make the call… you get at least three items of clothing off so it’ll be easier to defile you later, my vote is for the shoes, socks and shirt but feel free to surprise me” he teased, kissing his partner again before getting up and going over to find the menu for an italian place that would deliver. “We’ll grab the family pack, that always does the job and has enough for leftovers tomorrow… which I’ll need cos by the time I’m done having my wicked way with you, I don’t plan on doing much tomorrow” he teased, placing their order happily before going back to Jason “So should be here in about 20 minutes… meaning I have enough time for this” he said before just sitting beside his partner and hugging him, his head on the man’s chest “So, what’d ya get up to while I was dropping the tiny one off?”

It's funny the things that can clue you into something being amiss when you were trained by the world's greatest detective, though Jason's thought for years they should change that to world's most hypervigilant old fuck.

In any case, one of the pieces of junk he keeps on his TV stand has been moved, hastily put back such that the dust around it has been disturbed. Jason doesn't touch his random shit, and he sure isn't sloppy or panicky about it. Someone's here.

He gives a patient, almost cat-like blink, the world feeling like it slows down as he reaches into his back pocket for a knife and slowly makes his way deeper into his apartment.

"Sorry I-I don't mean to be such a buzzkill," she said softly to the other wringing her hands. "I've just... never done anything like this. I know that probably sounds really stupid to you. Like 'What's the big deal'? Right? And maybe I am you know... taking it too seriously I just-" she spared a look at the other to see if they were annoyed. "I should shut up shouldn't I?"

Stiles definitely had a way with words. Matt sighed and shut the door behind the other, watching as his colleague moved through his apartment as if he knew the place like the back of his hand, even though it was the first time he had been there. Still, he wasn't about to chew the guy out, he appreciated that he was there and that there was food.

"I plead the fifth." Matt replied, moving to grab some plates for them to used. "Can't say I've felt all that much of an appetite since I got back. The docs said that's normal, but I know they also said to try... Can I get you a drink? Beer? Water?" He motioned towards his fridge, watching Stiles closely. He knew that the other guy didn't like him, that much was clear, not that he understood why. But what Stiles had done to get them both out of there alive was something he could never fully repay.

"You have your life ahead of you. Oli...if you stay with me and my enemies find out?" Damien shakes his head. His own eyes are filled with tears. "I know you don't understand. I...I don't choose this lightly." He scrubs his hands over his face before grabbing a trunk that is thumbprint protected and putting it on the bed. He shouldn't do this. Shouldn't show this. Using his biometrics...he opens the trunk, revealing the gear for the current Robin. "My father is Batman and I'm Robin. As if being the boyfriend of the Wayne Heir isn't bad enough. What if Joker found out about you? Or Two-Face? Or any of the others?" His tears fall now. "This is to protect the one person I can't live without. To protect the one person I love."

oliver stares at the trunk, the words the other has just said hanging in the air, so thick and suffocating. his breath catches and for a moment, he doesn’t even move. the sight of the gear should feel monumental, like a revelation or a shift in his world, but all he feels is numbness. he's exhausted. his hands are still shaking, fists clenching and unclenching at his sides as he fights to make sense of everything. "so... this is it, then?" his voice comes out quieter than he expects, low and raw, like it’s been stripped down to nothing. he looks up at his boyfriend, eyes glassy as tears pool in his eyes. "you think you get to decide what’s best for me? for us? you think... you think this makes it better? that it makes any of this hurt less?" oliver's voice cracks again, the words trembling with the weight of everything he’s been holding back. he steps forward, gesturing at the trunk like it’s some kind of cruel joke. "you’ve been carrying this... this secret, all this time and now, you throw it at me like it’s meant to fix everything. like it’s supposed to explain why you’ve been pulling away, why you’ve been making me feel like i’m the problem." his voice rises, shaking as he speaks. "you don’t get to do that, damien. you don’t get to love me and then decide you’re the only one who gets to keep me safe."

Damien snorted. "Parties have never been my thing. I may be a Wayne but I never got my father's need to socialize." Damien preferred to stick to family and team mates. He was quite fond of the Kent boy as a source of entertainment. But he had noticed Philip and wanted to get a better look. He was attractive and at 25, the Wayne heir was starting to realize that maybe he preferred the company of men. "I'm Damien. I'm here on behalf of my father, and his donation to your school."

phillip's gaze met damien’s with curiosity. he allowed a small smile to form, softening the edges of his typically reserved demeanour. “well, that would explain why you’re over here hiding near the punch instead of charming the room,” he said cheekily to make things light, “oh! your father's generosity is greatly appreciated. our students will benefit from it more than you might realise.” he extended a hand, “i'm phillip olson. or just phil, if you like. i teach history and art at the school.” phillip hesitated for a moment, studying damien’s expression before he smiled, “so... if this isn’t your scene, what is? i imagine someone with your name doesn’t get much time for quiet corners.”

Jas braced herself as she stood in front of the New York Institute’s gates. Her father had always told her to stay far away from Shadowhunters, because they would arrest her & sentence her to death as soon as they realized who & what she was. Now she was going undercover, joining them. Her hair was glamoured, so it wouldn’t change color. She checked her gear, all of which had been purchased from the Shadow Market (after being salvaged from dead Shadowhunters) & went in. There were plenty of people milling about. Hopefully, very few would ask her questions. She just needed some answered.

Jonathan was furious. He had been prepared to beat the truth out of the woman who had borne him, she & the sister he never knew…but Jocelyn had taken a sleeping potion. The Cup couldn’t be found in her apartment, so where could it be? His father wouldn’t be pleased. The scars from his demon whip itched on Jonathan’s back. Hopefully. Jonathan’s brother would have better luck.
