Somebody asked me tonight, “Why, MADONNA?” For me…I look up to her in a lot of ways. Respect her on many levels. Every day, she is breaking down walls. Doing something new. Every album seems to be the soundtrack of what’s going on in Madonna’s world at that time. She’s a dance artist! You could see it in her, her #1 passion is dancing. Yesterday, I read a new article where she can’t remember one day when she had it easy. She always gets negative comments. When she was young, they called her a one hit wonder, said her career would be done decades ago. Called her so many names. Now, people call her old. But, she’s still got the energy of a very strong human being. She will do what she wants on her level. It hurts her, things she reads that people say, but it helps her fight. To keep on top. It’s the ultimate game of this industry. To be on top. And, for four decades, she has never left. She’s conquered. She is MADONNA. We still have at least another decade worth of her. She’s not finished playing this role. Just because she’s 56, doesn’t mean she should start making jazz albums. She makes dance music. She will keep rocking it. The more you diss her, the more she will continue to reign! She’s got some very exciting tracks on her new album. MDNA was her ‘going through her divorce album.’ Now, this is her, ‘F*ck u, this is my album, it’s going to sound like this. It’s what’s for dinner. Like it, or go f*cking make your own!’ #Madonna
