Fantardism Rant

So people are comparing the wedding scene of OTWOL and DA. Gaya-gaya daw ang DA. Like the OTWOL wedding was the most fucking original thing they have seen. I was like WTF. And here I thought I am not much of a pinoy teleserye watcher. Dude, almost every pinoy teleserye ends with a wedding. It’s the ultimate finale of pinoy teleserye. I have also seen finales made live. There was even this teleserye where the finale was based on text votes. Nothing in OTWOL, DA or recent teleseryes are so original. Get the fuck over with this fantard thinking.

You see, my cousin and I were kind of obsessed with endings. We watch finales even if we didn’t watch the teleserye before its finale. I know, we are a pair of weirdos. So, I know what I’m saying.

Juicecolored mga fantards kung maka-claim ng originality. Mga kahapon lang ata ipinanganak o sa loveteams lang nila umiikot ang mundo nila.

Side note: Magpapalitan na lang ba ang mga loveteams sa teleserye? Can I at least get something like descendants of the sun? (Yes, I am currently obsessed with this drama)

I’m okay (or maybe I just don’t care) that our teleseryes lack originality because like what I always say and what my professor said, it is not about originality. It’s about the execution. Pero pucha hindi ko kayang tangapin ang fantards at fantard thinking. Fans are okay. Fantards? NO.

That basically beats what he’s aiming for, which is simplicity and humility. That’s not a sign of humility and simplicity. That is HYPOCRISY. Seriously, how much is the gas of an airplane plus the additional cost of people who will fly with him? And since we are guarding your life and death, you’re just going to be a nuisance everyday for the traveling people.

You kidding me? You cannot leave your comfort zone to serve your country? Mr. President, there are a lot of people leaving their home and families to go to work. Some can only go home when they have money or during the holidays. My best advice is for you to experience what a lot of Pinoys are going through. Oh God, get a grip of yourself.

But then again, this is not surprising. Lately, when I look up the meaning of hypocrisy, I only find Duterte and his fantards.

I like Marian but i don’t like her fantards. Pwede ba, huwag masyadong close-minded. Stop saying the show will be a flop ‘cause Marian’s not part of it anymore. May mga tao na gusto mapanood ang teleserye di lang dahil kay Marian. Ako, i will watch it because of Glaiza. Others might give it a chance because of Rhian or Chynna’s transformation. At sigurado naman na marami pa rin ang manonood dahil sa mismong theme ng show. Kaya huwag masyadong mayayabang at pinapangunahan kaagad ang kahihinatnan ng palabas. Nakakaumay kayo.
