Where the sky meets the sea?
Have you ever heard of the place where the sky meets the sea? Some say the clouds there are forever bathed in the hues of a sunset. Crimsons and burnt umber, fiery oranges and bright yellows and golds. Of course there are also blues and flashes of distant green. Purples that spill across the horizon like a bruise, and the deepening to black where the stars begin to dance. Some say you can swim through the air there, where no difference at all can be found between water and wind. Perhaps a ship can sail as easily through clouds as they can waves? Some say it is near, just beyond the mountains or past the forests to the shore. Some say it is far, across deserts and wastelands, hills and dells, and down paths whose end few have ever seen. Some say it doesn’t exist, that all the stories are born of flights of fancy. Some say it does, and that the tales cannot do justice to the sight of the real thing. Some say... some say... What would you say, if you saw the place where the sky meets the sea?
