Cussing in Eorzea
If you’re anything like me, you cuss. You cuss a lot. You’ve run out of polite ways to be angry or exclaim your frustration, or even to curse the heavens. Well, I’m here to make it a little easier in character, and please, feel free to add any more to this list. I may update is sporadically if I find anything new, but I have a feeling it won’t change much. Even if you have a favorite not on the least, feel free to share.

Looking at most cuss words we use in real life, they are often some sort of animal - Cur, ass, etc. etc. which can be combined with other words to make a pretty good insults, like boar shite. As for blaspheming, you have an entire pantheon of gods to choose from, and usually combined with body parts, but not in an obscene way. Like up above, it’s “Oschon’s rigid staff” not “Oschon’s hard cock”. A final note is insults related to race. It will often make you look like a douche, but if that’s what you’re looking for, just remember that things like that often come with references to physical aspects. “Lalafellan pile of shite” “Your mother looks like a seawolf, Highlander”. In these cases (as it is for most cuss words, let’s be honest) are highly customizable and funny as all hell.
