Ok so I cannot find the post but remember that post I made where I coined the term "fantoysy" to describe the aesthetic of fantasy media aimed at little girls (think barbie movies, pretty cure, mlp, etc.)? I'm gonna start tagging stuff with that term and encourage anyone who wants to to do the same. A note: although the inspiration is from a gendered source, I want this aesthetic to be open to all genders.

Doing Jasmine this time because Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie. In the movie, Jasmine complains that she's always being told "where to go and how to dress." I'd like to think that after the events of the movie she gets more freedom to choose her own clothes and these outfits are the results!

Oh? Jasmine said frog rights? I'm sure her and Tiana get along.

I think this teal dress may be may favorite. Harkens back to her movie outfit but makes it a bit more modest and adds tons of sparkles!!

Disney Princess art that slaps part 1 / ???

Images obtained from Pinterest. This first one is Belle-centric. I guess Madame Wardrobe loves giving her new clothes even after she ceases to be a literal wardrobe. All yellow of course because she's the Yellow Princess. Also, just clicking around Pinterest, it seems a lot of this art is coming from a Disney Princess magazine. Not sure what language it's written in but I'm jealous of anyone who subscribed to that because they just have a steady stream of peak Fantoysy content coming their way presumably every month.

MLP Runaway Rainbow Unicorns

My Little Pony: Crystal Princess, to my understanding, is another example of a series gone too early. The scene in the Runaway Rainbow where Spike is showing the map of all the magical castles seemed to hint at other adventures that... *sigh* sadly never came to be. But at least Runaway Rainbow exists! And with it are introduced G3′s first unicorn characters! Pics obtained from My Little Wiki.

Now, I may be biased because this was the G3 movie I watched the most as a kid, but I really do think it’s the best one. Rarity’s maturity throughout the story is something I still enjoy watching unfold. And the rainbow aesthetic is... *chef’s kiss* Also the part where Spike is only woken up when Rarity calls him “your majesty” is just really funny to me.

Disney Princess: Enchanted Tales

Let us take this time to mourn what could have been an awesome video series had John Lasseter not dropped in and killed it after the first one.

At least we got one great video out of it. Great messaging about perseverance and wanting to make a difference in this one. Also taught me a few things about responsibility. And had some banger songs. Rip in peace, you were gone too soon.
