i like doing artfight, and i've been participating for a few years, but i usually don't draw that many chararcters lol.

OH and there's also different teams you can join if you're participating! a big reveal this year was that there was 3 artfight teams instead of the usual 2!

OH it's basically an art trading/art gifting kinda-sorta-competition! basically- if you choose to actively participate and don't just wanna watch from the sidelines (which is also valid)- you put your characters on there, draw other people's characters, and earn some points for doing it.

a lot of artists who do it treat it as an excuse to work on their skills, give/trade art to/with friends, or just wanna draw characters!
