hi, i really like your theme graduation and i've been fiddling with it for about an hour... for some reason, every time i upload a sidebar picture there's a little white strip at the bottom... the sb pic is the dimensions you specified in the post and i can't find anything in the code that may be causing it? :/ i really wanna use this theme

Check this post. Just fiddle around with the height image a little. It depends on your screen size really so I would just try to check which height fits best for you.

hi! about theme 21, when i zoom out, there is a blank space in the sidebar. do you know any html code to expand the image so it doesn't happen? thanks!

Look for this in the code 

.background img {width:500px; height:670px;}

and play around with the height of the image until it fits your screen size. Keep in mind though that the image will take these parameters and might look weird if width and height don't fit. I'd suggest against changing the width because everything else of the theme is built around the 500px width of the image.
