My parents do the same thing. Mom had surgery and didn't tell me until two days after

My mom does the same thing with her stuff, but I am glad that he is okay. ������
Why do parents think that’s ok? Like, I get that I’m an adult, but I still want to know what the hell is going on with my family. They do the same to my sister too; we have a standing agreement that as soon as one of us hears something, we tell the other.
