I had made this wanting to post to tiktok but ig since tiktok hates fun you all fargo likers get it here, this is more or less just because I was listening to hoosier songs while art streaming and then this song specifically stuck out to me as a gator tillman song and its like, this man is an absolute piece of shit but his nature of wanting to be exactly like his dad and like seeing how far it's gone to where gator's idealization of his father slowly deteriorates the more he realizes he is not family to his dad, he's just a tool and that in the first place, he was idealizing a man who hurt so many fucking people to a horrible extent and is a horrible person

and ironically you can see how he turned out like that because the moment linda and dot / nadine left his life when he was just 15 years old, like ofc, he would turn to the only role model he had left, if you can even call roy anything of a model because of how much he's a patriarchal piece of fucking shit

and I just find it fascinating because it's like he could do good, but it's likely it would be too late before he ever did good
