16 to 20 for Farier!

16. Is your character the athletic type or more of a couch potato? What are some sports/games that they like?

He hates walking, if that’s what you mean. And the cold  - something he and Dorian complain about for hours on end when brought anywhere cold and/or requires a lot of walking, which is weird because Farier is Ferelden so you’d think he’d be up to cold.

So yeah, he’s more couch potato. Way to pick your Warden Recruits, Isreli, you’re almost as bad as Duncan.

17. Does your character have dreams of getting married and/or having children?

Married yes, children not sure yet. At the moment he’s kinda stuck on what he wants to do and where he wants to go now that he’s officially left the Wardens, but I imagine he’d follow Dorian to Tevinter, sneak into his estate, drape himself naked over his bed with peeled grapes to surprise him. It’s a very Farier thing to do tbh.

18. What kind of home would they want to live in? Where would they place this abode?

Anywhere with a roof and food. He’s not actually all that fussy, considering he grew up in a slum.

19. Would your character be the kind to get into fights? (physical or verbal) Would they be a good fighter or cave in rather easily?

Not really, he deflects everything with his stunning sense of humour and wit. It’s very hard to egg him on. It’s all about pushing the right buttons, and chances are he’ll remove himself from the conversation as quickly as possible when he realises what the other person is trying to do. He’s not interested in conflict (unless it involves punching Erimond in the face).

20. Does your character like animals? What are some of their favorite animals? Would they want pets? What about mythological creatures?

He loves stories about griffons (*Wynne shrieking in the distance*) and as a kid he wanted one so bad before one of the Wardens told them that griffons were extinct (that Warden got a real bollocking from Isreli for making Farier cry). I like the idea of him having one someday, considering griffons are apparently making a comeback, but for now, he has a mabari pup who follows him everywhere. She’s from one of Fen’s litters, and is quite the scrapper ;)

How did Farier give Velanna, Sigrun and Oghren the slip?

Simple. He stuffed a pillow under his bedsheet.

Aside from the fact he was ten when he had to see darkspawn ripping apart people he’s known his whole life, being told to run, to get out before it’s too late, watching the city he’s called home being burned around him and barely managing to claw his way out but losing everything when he does? Not to mention the crap he goes through in Here Lies the Abyss when he’s forced to fight and kill Amaranthine Wardens, hell even some of the other mages who trained him?

Well in Inquisition he’ll have a cake walk compared to Lyris, but considering he’s romancing Dorian, that could very easily change with DA4 ;)

Same, I just cheat it now as well. But Ghilan'nain's is just hell, so I scrapped it and I've been rehashing Farier's backstory.

so much, especially during Here Lies the Abyss. Some of the Wardens fighting at Adamant came from Amaranthine. He’s known them since he was a child, seen them as family. And he’s going to be forced to kill them >:)
