Against all odds, @vermilinyan liked for a starter
After that fiasco at the lake she was glad to be looking at the ocean, even if it seemed... Off. That was a distant concern however, a much closer concern was how hungry she was. And instead of buying food, she’d bought fishing equipment. A tool? She’d bought a knife. So leaving her hat, boots and extraneous sleeves on the shore, she dived into the waves.
It was some time later she emerged from the water, dragging the large carcass of a bluefin tuna behind her. The knife had been cleaned by the sea, but there was at least one bite mark visible on the fish. When free of the waves she dropped it and honestly considered just biting into it right now, and she might have; had she not caught the gaze of this woman.
A vulpo? A feline? It didn’t really matter.
“Can I help you you with something.”
“Actually, do you know how to prepare something like this?”
