Winter work in the orchard S.R. Badmin Was there ever a better illustrator of trees? Badmin was surely one of the finest illustrators, with a jewellers eye he loved to portray the natural world and the English countryside. Royle cards, who published many of his watercolours, boasted that there wasn’t a Christmas mantelpiece that didn’t feature a Badmin card.
