It's been a while since I posted a @thorntonfarmersmarket haul 🥬🥔🥩🥖 (11am-4pm at Hwy 27 and Innisfil Beach Road), but I had to share this one! ✨Huge half price sale for a lot of cuts at Stone Horse Farm pasture raised pork✨. Got so many deals (as you can see) way cheaper than the grocery store and sooooo much tastier!!!😘 I'm currently addicted to the Italian loaf from PJ's and to the granola from Connie's Kitchen (goes into my yogurt every morning). Check out those awesome purple potatoes from EFT Farms! They're gold inside! As always, I got my cranberry tea biscuits from My Grandma's Farm for comforting weekend breakfasts, and this week my microgreens choice from S&R Microgreens was buckwheat. Small Farmers Market haul. Eggs 🥚-Fresh, organic & pasture raised Heirloom tomatoes 🍅😁 for my organic grass fed burger 🍔 Yellow squash - my American Grandma’s favorite!!! She must have been shopping with my because I don’t need them but I sure do love them 😋 Thanks Grandma Annie Lou! Ohhh! The guys manning the squash booth was soooo excited about these yellow squash beauties he gave me a detailed way on how to prep them to finish chicken soup. So, you chop the squash pretty fine and then add them to chicken soup 4 minutes before it is done. He said it must be 4 minutes. I love it!
