Hi Chris! What is your favorite Superman story and who is your ideal Superman writer if not the author of that story?

"The Last Days of Superman" from Superman #156. Superman is poisoned and finds out that he's dying and has to make arrangements for a world without him. If that sounds familiar, it's because that story was the inspiration for All Star Superman, but sadly, Morrison and Quitely didn't have Superman write an inspirational message on the moon. They did, however, include a scene where a message was written on the moon, but it was mainly to get Jimmy Olsen laid.

My all-time favorite Superman writer is probably Otto Binder, but I'm a big fan of pretty much everything Morrison has written with Superman in it.

I haven't started on Unchained yet but from what I've pieced that grey Darkseid knock off is as strong as Superman. Why is Batman able to take those punches?

The usual comic-book reasons:  he's wearing a special suit (that requires too much power to use for longer than brief times) he has a ring designed to weaken the guy like Kryptonite weakens Superman, and the villain is toying with him a bit so he can monologue.

Yeah the Hodge twins! They swear by it! I saw an interesting vid by Brandon Carter (I think that's his name) where he lost 14lbs in a month, AND he is hypoglycemic.  I'm game if you are! I can tag you in my weight-loss posts if you like and we can keep each other accountable. I'm accountability partners with peanutbutterinsanity (Ben), and that has helped keep me motivated!  Good luck!!!

There's Adventures of Superman which I enjoy and Smallville I heard is good. I also heard Pak is doing a good job with some very touching Clark and Kent family moments (finally).

Yeah, I'm being really unfair saying Scribblenauts is the only take on Clark I can love!  It's hard when his eponymous title leaves such a bad taste in my mouth, but I can vouch for AoS, Smallville, and Action all being good right now too.  I'm pretty spoiled if I'm able to complain there are only 4 or so titles that are writing my favorite character well.  *grin*
