I love Stardew Valley, it's such a comfortable game to play, but the plot feels a little light at times. I bet it would be more compelling if the farmer had amnesia, crippling substance dependence and was suffering so much mental degradation that he thought his clothes were speaking to him.

What would have happened if Henry was a farmer? Like how much would stuff change?

Henry isn't off trying to rob banks or steal diamonds, so Rupert and Dave still have their jobs at the prison, the Toppats successfully steal the Tunisian Diamond right under everyone's noses and Galeforce is never able to find someone with a dubious past to infiltrate the Toppat Airship.

Maybe Galeforce gets desperate enough to try to infiltrate it himself, either succeeding and getting promoted to General, or getting tempted to the dark side and getting rid of Reginald himself and becoming the new Toppat leader and becoming the Government's worse problem.

Though he would bring Charles with him because what impulsive almost dad just leaves their impulsive not son just flying around.

Though none of this concerns Henry. He is just a farmer who puts in an honest day's work, sometimes relaxing in a hammock near his lake or going into town to sell some crops.

No helicopter pilots or red headed right hands has Henry's heart, because the quiet farm life is all he needs.
