My best girl passed away and I want to ensure people know she was the greatest chicken I could have asked for.
Mabel was 6, a Columbian Plymouth Rock mixed breed hen. She helped me dig holes to plant trees, she was diligent on clearing the holes of worms and bugs. She followed me everywhere I gardened, she helped inspect the groceries. There will never be another like her, and I grieve her everyday.

One of my favorite animals on the farm are the quail! I have been wanting quail for a long time so I first bought a few jumbo cortunix quail then jumped in to buying 100 bobwhites!!!
