Pexa- ˈpɛ.ʃɐ

(noun) A slug-like insect native to the Farpa homelands. They appear similar in shape and size to Blue Dragon sea cucumbers. They fly by gliding on wind currents and are ochre yellow in color.

Farpa Flag

This is a very, VERY rough draft for a Farpan flag. This is what I imagine a flag would look like for the Farpa if they ever split off and developed a complex society.

Farpa Writing System

I just finished a basic draft for the Farpa writing system. Now, the camera quality sucks, but I will give the Latin names of the letters so that you can read those. I will try to digitize this, but I'll reach that point when I reach that point. I will make the symbols in Google Drawings. If anyone who actually knows how to make type-able writing systems wants to give it a try, by all means, knock yourself out!

CHEESE

THE FARPA HAVE CHEESE!!!!!!!!

Huxka- ˈhuʃ.qɐ

(noun) A type of Farpa cheese made out of the milk of Xendï. It has a smokey, garlicky, venison taste with a smell like teriyaki and ginger. It is often yellowish beige in color.

Yalem Farpakqu

Based on the poll that was taken, I will now refer to the Farpa language as Yalem Farpakqu (ˈʋɐ.lɛm ˈfarʱ.pa.q͡χu) or "Language of The Farpa."

Xepdje

Xepdje- ˈʃɛp̚.dʲɜ(noun) Feather snake. A snake-like creature native to the Farpa homelands. Xepdje, as the name suggests, have manes of feathers around their necks. They also have a fan-like structure of feathers at the end of their tails. They have white feathers with sky-blue bases, white ends/ tips, and orange dots in the center of the top of the feather. They are often beige in color with spots on them. They have no fangs, but do have a harpoon-like tongue that can extend to around double their body length. They can grow to around 6 feet long (182.88 centimeters).

Kurods

Kurods- ˈqu.rʱot͡s(noun) Scorpion snake. A snake-like creature native to the Farpa homelands. Much like rattlesnakes, Kurods have a very potent venom. However, instead of being injecting said venom via fangs, a Kurods has a stingray-like stinger at the end of its tail. It uses this stinger to incapacitate its prey. Kurods have loose skin under their jaw that can be inflated to both assert dominance and impress a mate. They have quill-like structures on their lower tail near the stinger at the end of their tails. They also have a kind of dorsal fin that is also used for intimidation much like a cobra fan but on the back of the upper spine. A Kurods can only grow to about as long/ big as 8 feet long (2.4384 meters). They are born in shark-like egg sacks in shallow waters in swamps. They are often grayish-white but can be a blueish-algae green. Their neck sacks are often red or yellow. Their fins often have iridescent stripes that line the spots in the centers of each webbed section of skin on their dorsal fins..
