SPOTLIGHT ON... THE FARRELL PILOT'S LEATHER JACKET
The jackets worn by pilots have often become as famous as the planes they flew in. Every country has had their own take on the item over the decades, from the sheepskin jacket to the bomber jacket, and they’ve made as much fashion history as they have military history.
Farrell’s take on the classic aviator’s outerwear is inspired by a 1970s Luftwaffe version. Made from black leather, the ribbed collar and cuffs provide the comfort and ease of movement that the pilots would have needed, while the heavyweight lining is enough to keep you warm, even at 20,00 feet.
