Rooster Teeth is still called Rooster Teeth, but they wanted a new name for the area of the company they just used to call RT Core. Stuff like the RT podcast. The company is still called Rooster Teeth but that one branch of the company now has a new name
Ooooooh that makes sense even if it's a little confusing to people who, like myself, aren't following them closely anymore. Their site is still the same name (even if it A - looks nothing like it did the last time I was there and B - has enough popups on mobile that it looked like a scam site for a moment) so I'm guessing at least some of their IPs are still RT instead of STF.
@ladysstardust Looks like they still use Rooster Teeth for the company as a whole, just not for that department. Sorry for the confusion! I was so baffled by my initial assumption (and stuck in a meeting so I couldn't verify either way lol) that I jumped to the wrong conclusion
