For Fat Thursday we had Moravský Vrabec, literally translated as Moravian Sparrows, chunks of braised pork with gravy, sauerkraut, and potatoes.

Can’t believe my luck! I found these Polish treats at my local grocery store. Similar to the Czech masopustní koblihy, associated with the carnival season.
