As far as I understand, Anna Wintour also abuses women (if the Devil Wear Prada is accurate, which I think it is), men, animals through the relentless promotion of fur, etc. She stands for hierarchy and humiliation. Abuse is not a sex issue - it is a power issue. The irony of her talking about recent media cases does not go unnoticed. We need to do away with structures of power and how authority is performed. Otherwise, we will be lynching a few people and nothing will change.

As a kid, I grew up shopping all the time. Something great happened?lets go shopping. Something bad happened? Time to shop. Trip coming up? Shopping spreeeeee!!!!! 🤑 _ Not only is this bad for the wallet, this is AWFUL for the environment. ⚠️ The fashion industry is the #2 polluting industry in the world! (Only after fossil fuel energy production)That means that your clothing purchases are even WORSE for the environment than the plastic bag that you put them in! 😫 _ So, what can you do about this??? •personally, I’ve chosen to do my part in saving as many items as I can from going to landfill, or 3rd world countries where they DO NOT want or need this clothing brought to. •STOP BUYING FAST FASHION. there are plenty of sustainable/ethical clothing and fashion companies to purchase beautiful items from. •shop secondhand! 80% of the time I find items that are BRAND NEW in thrift stores! •trade with friends! Get together with some friends and bring everything that you don’t want! You can trade & everyone leaves with some new pieces for the wardrobe! • reinvent pieces that you already have. MOST of us have things in our closet that we have never worn! Try these items on and make new outfits! If you are truly unhappy with an item, please choose to resell or donate to a friend. Make sure that item does not end up like that in these photos. Apps like @poshmark or @ebay are perfect for this. If you’d like to check out my eBay store, you are welcome to.
