Our new mini language guide distils seven language tips everyone in the movement can start using today: 1️⃣ Lead with positive frames - “Animals are someone, not something” 2️⃣ Use inclusive language - “Our animal cousins” builds a bigger us 3️⃣ Avoid industry euphemisms - Say “killing”, not “culling” 4️⃣ Speak animal-first language - “Horses forced to race”, not “race horses” 5️⃣ Choose active verbs - “Testing on animals” exposes the action 6️⃣ Lean on shared values - Freedom, kindness, fairness, dignity 7️⃣ Connect with identity - “People who care about animals,” not labels that divide ✅ Monday move: Let's print this list and find a place where we'll see it often.
