Architectuur van de laadstations van de elektrische auto. Komende decennia zullen de ouderwetse benzine-pompstations verdwijnen en samen met de fossiele auto’s plaats maken voor de elektrische auto’s hun eigen faciliteiten. In Nederland bestaan de laadstations van FastNed met hun kenmerkende architectuur (ontwerp van architecte María García Mansilla). In Denemarken heeft Cobe een ontwerp gemaakt voor een laadstation bij Fredericia, wat een standaard moet zijn voor meer stations. In vergelijk met de ouderwetse pompstations is het open, licht, schoon, groen en speels. Ergens lijkt het wel op het Nederlandse ontwerp van María García Mansilla. Zou dit het toekomstige beeld zijn van auto-laadstations, of lijkt het nog te veel op het pompstation wat we nog kennen? Zal er uiteindelijk iets geheel nieuws komen, gebaseerd op een laadtechniek die wel nog niet kennen? Zou de elektrisch auto zoals de Lightyear worden en uiteindelijk zichzelf kunnen laden?
This week Fastned has officially opened its first fast charging station in Belgium, which is the fourth country, after the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
By the way of Q3 results, and opening the largest fast charging station in Germany, Fastned has shown an interesting slide about scaling up the business.
(..)The company has ambitions to expand its network beyond 1,000 stations at some point in the future. As of the end of Q3, it was 123 stations, mostly in the Netherlands (100+) but the company is expanding in Germany and recently started new investments in Switzerland and in Belgium. There are also a few clustered stations in the UK.
Dutch fast-charging network Fastned accustomed us to growth every quarter, but the fourth quarter of Q4 was surprisingly good, even for Fastned's standard.
Fastned's Q3 quarterly update shows the growth we have become accustomed to from this company. It is usual exponential growth, albeit slowing from 2018. The numbers are impressive, but they appear more impressive when looking at this graph:
