Xin Guobin, the vice minister of industry and information technology, said the government is working with other regulators on a timetable to end production and sales. The move will have a profound impact on the environment and growth of China’s auto industry, Xin said at an auto forum in Tianjin on Saturday.
Honda Motor Co. will launch an electric car for the China market in 2018.
Internet entrepreneur William Li’s Nio will start selling ES8, a sport-utility vehicle powered only with batteries, in mid-December. The startup is working with state-owned Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group, which also is in a venture with Volkswagen AG to introduce an electric SUV next year.

The number of Tesla Supercharging stalls installed around the world has exceeded 25,000! That's a huge number.

EVgo, one of the largest electric vehicle public charging networks in the U.S., announced recently that power being dispensed now exceeds pre COVID-19 levels.

New 350kW chargers by Ecotricity are now live at Moto service station on the M6 close to Rugby. These chargers are state of the art 350kW installations featuring contactless payment at a very reasonable price of 30p/kWh. In this video, I talk about this new installation and how we will see more of these at service stations around the UK over the next few years. I charged my Polestar 2 for about 40 minutes and found the experience to be so easy and pain-free!

(..)In Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, Ionity will have stations with Circle K fuel stations. Estonia will have two locations for them: Märjamaa and Arumetsa. Lithuania and Latvia will have only one. While it will be in Bijotai in Lithuania, between Klaipėda and Kaunas (allowing EV traffic between these cities), Latvia will have its Ionity fast-charging station in Stapriņi, which is pretty close to Riga, the country’s capital(..)

So, Electrify America did the most sensible thing it could imagine for 24 communities across this large state. It built off-grid solar-powered charging stations. They aren’t ultrafast chargers, but they are chargers nonetheless and do have some extra special aspects.
