Legendborn rant

Guyssss, i need to rant about legendborn. Because on one hand, OOO the world building is so GOOD, and nick is so UGH, and i love miss Alice Chen and William and the plot is pretty good too, like that plot twist at the end off bloodmarked… on the other hand- I hate Bree Mathew’s so much. She’s thinks she has it worse that literially everyone else because shes a black girl in the south like I HATE how the author is like “ look at this racism!” Miss girl do yk how diverse the south is. And guys A) IM NOT DEFENDING THE SOUTH i do think it’s racist ( no offense to my southerns out there) and B) im black so take that as you will, but it was just SO annoying to see the only black mc in a popular fantasy novel be such a victimizer!! Not only is Bree a victimizer but she’s SO annoying and stubborn and she acts like she’s TWO. And listen ik it’s the whole like shes angry at the world but girl do you have to act this way??? so guys, what do I do?? Do I read the 3rd one when it comes out (knowing full well I might lose in the love triangle as well)
