                                    he  had  already  knocked  at  least  two  separate  times  &  yet  he  heard  NOTHING  from  the  other  side  of  the  door  .  wrong  house  ,  maybe  ?  this  was  the  address  listed  on  the  ad  ,  surely  he  hadn’t  made  a  dumbass  move  &  mixed  the  apartment  numbers  up  .  that  would  NOT  be  a  good  first  impression  on  her  .  

                                    ❛     anyone  gonna  come  answer  the  door  ?     ❜   he  called  out  with  a  half-hearted  chuckle  ,  eyes  scanning  from  side  to  side  as  he  waited  from  a  response  ,  hoping  this  time  he  would  actually  be  heard  .

                                      his  fists  clench , fingers  curling  into  them  tightly  as  his  eyes  refuse  to  look  up  to  meet  hers .  how  sad .  even  now  he  still  couldn’t  look  into  those  icy  blue  eyes  like  a  man  would .  he  was  just  a  BOY  compared  to  her .  teeth  clench  &  the  words  come  out  in  an  angry  murmur .   ❛     you know i can’t do that light . i won’t .     ❜   the  words  leave  his  lips  in  a  slight  tremble  ,  one  he  hoped  her  honed  ears  wouldn’t  detect .  god  damn  it  ,  he  hated  this .
