                       at first a passing look, then a second glance. ah, he does vaguely recognise him, but it’s difficult to recall who he is. ( he should know though, it’s on the tip of his tongue. ) should he even bother to initiate conversation? he does have a question, one about balbadd, &. it likely requires local knowledge ( nobody he knows will be able to answer, he thinks ).

                       “ excuse me, ” words to form politely, he’ll even duck his head in a small bow,  “ are you a local? I have a question. ”

                     he’s stumbling around in the dark like this, &. he figures it’s better to just stop  &. give up. it’s not even that urgent, he tells himself, despite knowing he’ll forget, &. this’ll come to haunt him later. sighs, hand to rise to the back of his neck as he wonders what to do, catches sight of a --- familiar --- form, resigns himself to talking.

                    “ koushi. ” speaks plainly, a little flat. “ have you seen kourin? ” expectant look, not that he thinks she’ll know. be nice if she did, though.

Balancing on thin walls, he felt awfully strong and calm. His tail high in the hair as he walks on the wall with ease of movement.

        A sigh escaped the man's lips as he analyzed the map carefully. Another few seconds of thinking, he massaged his temples. His thinking was off today, something he couldn't afford to happen, even if there was no threat against Ylisse; he was a tactician, he needed to be at his best at all times.

        Footsteps made it to his quarters as Gale stood from his seat, bowing slightly. "Ah, Chrom. What brings the general here today? Anything to discuss?" He questioned with a smile.

☾ for a sleeping headcanon

talya wiggles around a lot in her sleep. probably the only way to get her to stop is to hold onto her. but sometimes she'll wake up in the morning on the floor with the blankets tangled around her. she also snores and talks in her sleep, but swears she doesn't.
