wow, oddball request much? uh, but she’s probably gotten worse bein’ a right royal and all. nothin’ slippery or outta the ordinary here, nope! intentions clean as can be since bein’ put to work against some real grimy guys may as well have made him fit as a fiddle. a real changed guy he is!

so maybe he’s lookin’ for that special somethin’ to cleanse his palette between all the boring downtime and if his handiwork ain’t his greatest asset then he ain’t worth the title sticky fingers gaius and all the stories told from one tavern to the other. since he hasn’t got the goods to create any new sparkle worthy trinkets that’d sit all pretty up in his stall, expertly honing his weapon craft will have to do. if the little lady will allow him of course.

shoot! there’s guys crawlin’ around everywhere down here. this doesn’t feel right ( ain’t got a tightness in his shoulders for nothin’, y’know? ) and as much as he’s sure the little royal tomato lovin’ highness wouldn’t hold on to an oh so loyal retainer who couldn’t spot a band of thieves proper ( oh, he knows what he’s doin’! ) good ol’ gaius has a nose that just uh... knows. can smell danger wafting off this whole damn dredged up scene like fresh cooked pastries right outta the oven!

ugh. 

but this place don’t smell savory at all. it’s noxious just the way he remembers and hell if he ever planned to shake it back down here ever again, yeah? hello nohrian underground. ain’t that a sight for sore eyes. so sore it’s practically bittersweet, heck. whatever these second rate robbers are doin’ a real damn poor job of hidin’ down here best be worth the sticky setback they’re bound to run into sooner or later.
