❛   i heard once there was legend that if you eat the flesh of a mermaid, you become immortal. how gruesome is that ? just the thought of it makes me curious. do you ever get curious about things you’re told ? it’s fun to think on if it’s true or not. ❜  her babbling comes with pure ease, the smile never leaving for even a second   —  perhaps it would be best for the other to leave but alas, she continues once more.

 She had to admit, she had no idea what to make of the offering. Yes, she was very glad to get a gift like that, but with the way he had spoken so mysteriously earlier, she couldn’t help but get the vague suspicion that he was one of the types to try and scam a merchant by getting on their good side. She’d never had to deal with one before, but it didn’t help that he’d given her something so nice right before she had to ask!
