Your girlfriend excitedly handed you the new clothes she just bought you. You unfolded a massive 5XL pair of sweatpants, vastly oversized.

“Babe, I don’t think these are going to fit, they’re huge!” You said, scratching the back of your head. She smiled, and gave you a playful kiss on the cheek.

“Oh come on dear, they’re fine. Besides, you’ll grow in to them…” She teased, and headed off to the kitchen to start preparing dinner.

150 pounds later, when the draw string finally gave up on the sweatpants, and your belly was hanging past your crotch, you hardly had time in between meals to wonder if she was somehow behind all this.
