hi there! i’m mobile and about to submit a very long, messy message explaining everything as i love my group and refuse to allow a disgruntled anon tarnish the name. thank you for giving us a platform, one sec!

hi! this is going to be very messy bc i am on three hours of sleep and mobile but i love my group WAY too much to allow this to happen.

last night, a member tried to apply with robert downey jr. as an fc. now just a few days later in the group chat, someone had voiced their discomfort as he had previously done black face. mind you, a few white members had said they were fine with it, but that wasn’t the input i was after. I didn’t want to put anyone in any uncomfortable positions, so i kindly asked the applicant if they could switch fcs. they didn’t seem happy about it, and they pointed out that other fcs that had been problematic for the same issue were accepted. which i get! that’s not okay! so i literally went to those members and asked them to change fcs, which they were absolutely understanding and willing to change! as for accepting kj apa, I literally asked the group upon receiving his app how they felt: everyone said they didn’t mind, and he was accepted. this is how we function. we had a set list of banned fcs that we add after discussing it with our members.

naming the brothel was a stupid choice! it was very quickly brought to my attention and immediately changed. like, within minutes. we’re all imperfect, and we just have to rectify our mistakes.

i’m very upset, as i personally messaged the member who left over rdj multiple times to wish them the absolute best, show them that action was taken against the problematic fcs, and that they were a talented addition to the group. as for cliques, i like to believe that group as a whole gets along very well! we know not everyone uses discord, so we do have a talk tag on our dash to keep everyone included. we work to include everyone, and the group chat always welcomes every new member.

i love my group. i love our communication. i love what we have accomplished. if we mess up, i will acknowledge that, fix it, and move forward. we are VERY welcoming to poc and actively encourage members to take up more poc members. my entire group can vouch for this.

again, i don’t know the rp, the anon, or the situation, but it seems like it’s been handled well in this case, thus far. i agree that mistakes can happen, and sometimes it can just be an accidental thing. i can say i approve of the way the admins have spoken about this, and i hope it clears up anything further that may or may not be being discussed about the rp.
