Setting sunlight catches Faustus in a halo of flaming gold, contrasting against the dark waves of his hair and glinting off the metal rings outlining his ears. His smile, small and closed lipped, bellies the warmth flickering in his eyes as blue and as vivid as the last line of fading summer sky.

Faustus plays for Mason, fingers deft and practiced teasing the guitar's strings - yet Mason couldn't speak of the song with his focus so drawn instead on the man playing it.

I had the pleasure of being able to commission the wonderful @mooreaux! I was so, so excited to commission them for an illustration of Faustus and Mason and they captured the mood I had in mind perfectly! They're such a delight to work with, too!
