1. How do you usually spend your Friday nights?
On a typical Friday night you would probably find me rugged up already in my pajamas on either the couch or in my bed watching missed episodes of my favorite television shows or some romantic comedy film. There is nothing I love more than just having some down time to myself after a full weeks worth of university study
2. How would you LIKE to spend your Friday nights?
Although I already like how I spend my Friday nights I wouldn’t mind once in a while going out with my friends to catch up and what not, but I guess nowadays with everyone’s busy lifestyles and schedules its so hard to find the time to unfortunately. In saying that I guess that’s why we are so lucky today for the technology we have so contacting our friends is merely a text message or phone call away.
3. What do you remember to be your very first memory of when you were a baby?
The earliest memory I have wasn’t when I was exactly a baby but I remember one of my first weeks of kindergarten (so I was 5 years old) and I still to this day distinctly remember the teacher standing up on one of the tables and yelling like a crazy woman, and once she was done with that she told us how what she just demonstrated to us was something we should not do. I still don’t understand how that demonstration of hers helped at all when people in the class were still screaming nevertheless. She tried I guess haha.
4. What is your greatest passion?
I have two greatest passions in my life and neither one of them out rule the other. They are both so special and personal to me that I don’t think I could ever choose between them. They are of course fashion in all forms, whether it is in simply the clothes we wear or even fashion in terms of home interior décor furnishing. And secondly travelling. I would love nothing more than to just escape and travel the world freely and explore so many different places, cultures, landmarks, foods, people and this list goes on.
5. Pick one of your favorite songs. Why is it your favorite song, tell about it, where did you hear it for the first time, what is your favorite lyrics-part in it, etc?
This is a hard one because I have had so many favorite songs for a period of time. But I think the one song that has stuck with me for quite sometime and I think that many people would agree with me when I say Coldplay’s ‘Fix you’ is an absolute, phenomenal, breathtakingly beautiful, relatable piece of music. It has to undoubtedly be my favorite songs as not only are the lyrics so perfect; the music is almost soothing to the soul. It’s almost indescribable. The first time I heard it I believe was on the radio for only a few short seconds and then I went home and youtubed it and after listening to it for the first proper time by myself in silence with no distractions I couldn’t help but just quietly sob at how lovely the song was. And yes as depressing or sad or whatever else that may sound like the song has and still helps me to this day when I know the going gets tough, because as the lyrics say ‘Lights will guide you home and ignite your bones and I will fix try to you’. To me this is almost a guarantee that in life no matter what happens you will overcome whatever it may be that is holding you back at the time and also it is so important to remember that nothing lasts forever, especially when in pain, suffering or some sort of distress all shall pass and to never give up no matter what, you owe it to yourself for getting this far and having come so far. Sorry for the essay this was just such a perfect question and I couldn’t help but express something so dear to me as this song.
6. What was your dream job when you were a kid?
My dream job when I was a kid would have to be probably be a teacher, and yes while it sounds kind of dorky looking back now I just always loved the idea of being able to teach younger children, and I still do.
7. If you don’ believe in heaven, then pretend for a moment you do. Imagine what kind of a place your own personal heaven would be. Where would it be and who would be there with you?
As I do believe in heaven this question for me is quite easy to answer as I have on numerous occasions thought about what heaven looks like. To me the heaven that I know with God that exists I picture it to be high above the clouds in utter peace with every other person who has ever had faith in God there too. My own personal heaven however I picture it to be in a similar place, but with my family and other dear loved ones right beside me.
8. What kind of a dream did you have last night? (Or the night before if you didn’t dream last night.)
I actually had a nightmare last night but that’s obviously still considered dreaming so I’ll continue. Basically I dreamt that it was the apocalypse and the world was ending and I was in my house with my family. Thankfully my alarm woke me up so I didn’t get to find out what exactly happened.
9. Would you take any tattoos? If so, what kind of a tattoo?
When you say take tattoos I imagine you mean get tattoos? And yes I would get a tattoo. I would love to get the word ‘wanderlust’ tattooed somewhere on my ankle perhaps. The world is perfection in itself to me, it describes my true passion in one world, which is simply having an utter desire to travel and rove about. Other than that in the future I would love to get my children names tattooed also, with perhaps a set of angel wings around them or something like that. I also love roses so maybe a rose somewhere too.
10. What is your favorite word? In english or another language (please write in in english too if it’s in foreign language).
I have for a while really liked the word ‘discombobulate’, which really is just a fancy way of saying confused. I think more so than words I really like names, in particular unique names.
11. When was the last moment you felt perfectly happy?
The last moment when I felt perfectly happy was probably a few short hours ago to be honest when Dami won the X-factor Australia haha. This young lady is absolutely remarkable, and I’m so thrilled for her that she won! She truly deserved to win as not only does she have a divine voice but also her personality is so genuine and sincere and just all round she appears to be such a lovely human being.
